Open Architecture
The
XML code that runs the 1Point web interface can be modified to limit
features to users. In fact the tabs themselves
can be completely removed if desired.
Monitoring
All roles by default
can monitor all events. Alarms are highlighted in red and have
their own separate tab as well. The status of each component of
the system is also viewable in the status tab. The scheduled
commands tab shows commands set to a schedule.

Access Control
This tab is
usually reserved for the main admin of the system. All cards in
the system can be viewed here. Access levels, Door Groups,
Anti-pass back areas, schedules, holidays and holiday groups are all
created under access control.
People
All cardholders of
the system are managed here. People can be populated from Active
Directory via one-way synchronization or entered manually. Once a
user is created a card must be assigned to the them as well as
privileges.

Advanced Reporting Tool
Gathering data from a security system is one
of the most needed features, yet often is the weakest aspect of typical security
software. 1Point offers the most flexible reporting tool available. If the data
exists in the 1Point database the 1Point report generator can extract that data
in any way the user wants. Once a report is created it can be saved for future use.
